Software

These are the programs developed by the Bayesian Knowledge Discovery project. We believe in the development and distribution of software as major way to foster the use and application of Bayesian methods in the Information society. The development of this software is often made possible by the effort of people and by public or private funding, and we gratefully acknowledge the work of our collaborators and the support of our sponsors.

BKD: Bayesian Knowledge Discoverer.

BKD is a computer program to learn Bayesian Networks from incomplete databases. It is based on a new  method called Bound and Collapse. BKD is freely available and can be downloaded from the BKD page.
RoC: Robust Bayesian Classifier.
RoC is a computer program for supervised classification of incomplete databases. It is based on a new estimation method for incomplete databases called Robust Bayesian Estimator. RoC is freely available for research and educational use and can be downloaded from the RoC page.
