The Event

The scene at Holton Heath. The mezzanine level of the Holton Heath stores was turned into a multi media studio for the first ever interactive Web Cast on the BP Amoco intranet.

A Webcast crew from the Open University produced a live video stream which was encoded then relayed to a server in Sunbury before being split to a repeater server in Aberdeen to service a total of 50 or so clients.
