Contributing to ProLearn-TV
If you would like to contribute to ProLearn-TV there are
a number of options available to you. Please contact Ben Hawkridge to discuss
which option best meets your needs.
Existing content
- Streaming video - we can link to existing streaming
video sources, provided they are accessible from the Internet.
- Video files - if you have content that has already
been encoded, but isn't available for streaming, we can transcode it to
QuickTime and host for you.
- Video tapes/DVD - as with video files we can convert
these sources and host them on a server for you.
New Content
- Use a video camera to record your presentation, and
send us a copy of the recording, and we will encode and host the video
presentation for you.
- Online recording of short presentations. We have a
tool in testing called XO Lite, that makes use of Macromedia Flash
technology to allow online recording of video and audio sync'd to JPEG
slides. If you are interested in trialing this technology please
contact us.
- Video conference recording - if you are unable to
readily arrange for your presentation to be recorded, we suggest
arranging a video conference with us, which we will then record, and
use this as the source for subsequent presentation on Prolearn TV.
- Slides and Video - using XO Editor technology we
developed we can arrange for any of your video presentations to be
sync'd to JPEG slides, easily exported from PowerPoint, the final
result will be hosted in the XO Stage playback tool on Prolearn TV. We
are also working on developing an online version of this tool (XO
Sync), and if you'd like to trial this
please get in touch.
- There are many tools for creating streaming content,
if you have a prefered tool and would like to us it instead of the
above options, I'm sure can can integrate the resulting presentation
into ProLearn TV.
Live Content
If you have a live event scheduled, please contact us so we can host
the event on Prolearn TV. If you want to know more about what is
required technically to do live streaming video then please get in
touch with us too. |

Flash video with JPEG slides tool, that can record online a
presentation. Integrated into the XO Backlot content management system.

Tool for sync'ing existing video content with slides.
